“Overall stay was substandard for a Hyatt place. Breakfast is usually the bright spot but here it was the opposite. Elevator was out so we had to cancel plans for movie and dinner as my wife was unable to navigate 5 floors of stairs comfortably due to a recent surgery and no real accommodations were made for it. Bed was awful as were the pillows. Upon check in they tried surprising me with a parking fee at a non downtown Chicago or Detroit hotel!! This on top of waiting til almost 5 to check in...

“The room was fine but the pool had a questionable green hue to it that made me stay away. Some guests did seem to be swimming in it although I felt it probably needed to be closed for cleaning… that was disappointing. Also the breakfast was disappointing but I think I may have been expecting too much there.
