“This hotel is very pretty- the staff is very helpful as well. My only feedback would be that the housekeeping team never fully cleaned our room for 4 days. They would come in, do something, but never a full clean. It was pretty weird. They would take the trash, leave a few towels, but didn't make the bed or leave fresh mugs/glasses. Then the next day they would do the opposite or less. Minor detail, but worth mentioning for the price. The restaurants were lovely - Connie in Triplettes was SO...

“The room had everything I needed and the fitness room was sufficient to maintain my exercise routine. Water pressure was sub par and the tap water was cloudy- may be because the facility was a new construction and the dust has barely settled.”

“Good place to stay. Clean. Friendly staff. One coffee maker broken but they were calling a company to repair it. If at all possible I think there should be some overflow space for where breakfast is since on high volume times it is difficult to find a seat. Aldo that high table top is too difficult for the elderly to sit at. I would replace it with a regular seat 8 table.”

“Property is clean and quiet. Beautiful views of the mountains and they have a nice courtyard. Parking is free. There is also a shuttle to downtown. Overall it’s always a nice stay at the Penn Stater.”

“Pessimo rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Prezzi da 5 stelle con camere e servizi da 1 stella (ma peggio di un motel dove almeno trovi la colazione inclusa). Struttura vecchia, quasi fatiscente. No ascensore per le camere che non sono al piano terreno (difficolta' per i bagagli). Nel secondo giorno di permanenza (rientrati a tarda sera con la brutta sorpresa che nessuno avesse rifatto la camera). Sconsigliato”

“Had some delays at checkin. Room was not ready. Staff was young and unsure how to handle delay (laundry problem - they were waiting on clean fresh laundry) Person that came to room to make up the bed was apologetic. All staff were pleasant but seemed a little overwhelmed. Perhaps this is an isolated incident. The room was fine clean but a bit outdated. I would go back, there are not a lot of options right in Phillipsburgh. ”
