“My wife and I spent a night here at the end of July. We had asked for a room on the first floor, which we given. Check-in was quick and easy. The room, whilst small, had all the aminities necessary, including a kettle with branded tea and coffee, sugar and sweetners, sachets of milk in the mini fridge and two biscuits. “How can you not like a place where the rooms are named after animals? If I had a choice I'd have gone for dormouse, owl or stag, but Pheasant was good too. It was cosy, and the bed was comfy. And there was a bookshelf on the landing which was perfect for bookworms like me. I ate in the pub, and had the tastiest bangers and mash that I've had in a long time. Would certainly recommend. ”

“I didn't know what to expect when booking (got a great deal through expedia) it also came up as a 2star (which personally I never go for) but it looked fine (better than dated / tired alternatives in the area) so thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. “Nice stay. Quiet room. Helpful staff. Curry restaurant in the same building and few groceries around. Access to public transport. The only cons is that it was difficult to locate initially but it is in the main road in the same building of Curry Adda”

“This is the best boutique hotel in which i have ever stayed. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms well appointed. Lovely to be adjacent to the Thames. Unbeatable!”

If you drive careful getting into their car park. The entrance was not made for today's fat cars. Many have scraped their left mirror on the wall. ”
