So much love has been poured into the Antique House that it felt like going home. It was astep back in time that felt like a warm hug.I love the porches, sitting on one of the rockers on the front porch and watching the rain made me smile, and telling my husband I loved being there just fell from my lips. Sipping on a rootbeer float while sitting on the backporch watching the deer walk by was a cherry on top of a perfect evening.The home is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the antique collection is fascinating. If you don't want to fix breakfast in the modernized well equipped kitchen, less than two minutes walking distance is Taqueria Utopia which serves one of the best breakfast tacos I have ever eaten.It is a great place to hang your hat.Charlotte Caldwell

We had a wonderful time at the Antique House. The house is much larger than the pictures suggest, and all of the antiques are such a treasure. Many of the items took me and my husband back in time to memories with our families. Our two girls, ages 8 and 11, had a blast playing in the large back yard and especially on the seesaw. Our oldest daughter left her volleyball behind on accident and Paula was kind enough to mail it to us the following day. The house is located right in town so you can easily walk to restaurants or the grocery store.

Special stay with our mom

What a beautiful home with so many comfortable spaces. We loved coffee on the back porch one morning and loved sitting in the sun room the next. Kitchen has everything you could think of. Beds are comfy and house is beautifully and tastefully decorated with fun antiques we loved talking about. Hostess made check in and check out super easy. We walked to restaurant down the street for dinner and floated in the nearby river. Very fun and easy weekend. Thank you for your hospitality!

Beautiful House right on Main with wonderful hosts

The house was perfect was located right on Main Street had a huge backyard and the hosts were wonderful, so accommodating, they even had everything ready for us to have root beer floats for the 4th of July with frosted mugs. We will definitely be staying again! Our children loved it!!

Beautiful, Comfortable and Antiques Galore!

While the name really does set the expectation for this incredible home sitting right on the main street of the tiny town of Utopia, you'll be blown away by the sheer number of antiques on display for your viewing pleasure. It's like stepping into an antique retail store without price tags attached to the hundreds (if not thousands) of treasures from a generation past. But that's only the background ambiance! You walk into a modern kitchen equipped with any and every thing you could possible need. Attached to the kitchen is a sweet little back porch sun room overlooking an acre of fully fenced back yard. That is also where one of the two bathrooms are situated. To the right of the kitchen sits a large family table, with french doors leading into the spacious family room, complete with a record player and lots of vinyl to play. A large screen TV also occupies this room, although we never turned it on. We did not want to disturb our sense of time & place in the Antique House. The four bedrooms are extended off the back hallway with the other bathroom. Beds were soft and comfortable and each room had both ceiling fans and floor fans. We were there in summer and the AC worked perfectly and kept the entire home cool. (Front king bedroom was a bit warmer than the others, though, just FYI.) We absolutely loved this home with all its charm and hope to return to it for many, many years to come!

Old Style Homey

My family had a wonderful stay. If you love antiques and older style homes, you will love this place. It is decorated wonderfully and in the morning, we sat in the small back area room and watched the deer and peacock browse around. Everything was comfortable. (and I loved the Root Beer Floats that were provided). It is close to a highway, so a few vehicles zooming but other than that, a WONDERFUL stay!

Memorial Day weekend

This house was exactly as advertised. We were in the area to visit friends at the Frio river. Utopia was a short 20 minute drive to the river. We will definitely keep this place in mind for next year.

Love the place, the amenities, the decorations and the country feel, even though it was in “town”. Loved the outdoor amenities as well! Will be out “go-to” place, whenever in or near Utopia!

Lovely/ unique rental. Appreciated the extras! Nice outdoor areas- loved seeing the local deer and enjoyed the rockers out front. Minuses- didn't realize 2nd bath was other side of house from bedrooms/ Main Street really noisy at night for front bedroom. All-in-all a nice place.
