  • Set with a lovely view of Vail Mountain and Gore Creek (and sunsets!), this deluxe condo features two balconies in addition to other unique amenities. The rich furnishings extend to the queen size Murphy bed in the living room, which stays hidden in a matching black cabinet when not in use. But whether or not you're ready for bed, the gas fireplace with stone work will help you relax in warm comfort. Enjoy a favorite DVD (or someone small's wind-down movie) on the living room TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar with seating for six guests. Guests of this condo can also enjoy access to fun shared amenities, including three hot tubs and the heated outdoor pool.

    Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Lion Square Lodge South 274 Weekend stay

The condo was very clean and very comfortable! It had a nice balcony with great views. We loved being so close to the creek/walking path. I liked that the Lodge has shuttle drivers available to bring one to places in Vail; very helpful when heading to a dinner out, etc. I would stay here again.

Great location

We love staying at Lion Square Lodge South. This unit looks on Gore Creek from the deck and has great airflow in the summer. Easy access to the bike/walking path and just steps away from one of the gondolas.

Great location condo was meh

Love lions square lodge as a premier location for skiing. Amenities are great as well. Condo was adequate for our needs but layout could be better for function.

Weekend Ski Trip

Excellent rental property. Ski in/ski out. Ski valet on property and literally steps to the gondola. Restaurants and shops adjacent to property. 24 hour check in was great as we arrived late. No need to leave the property. Five stars and highly recommend.

We enjoyed this condo & it’s location so much we came back again this year! There was new carpet this year, which was nice! A small piece of furniture had been removed from the bedroom, which made for a little more room. Bed is comfortable. People at the front desk and bell stand are very nice & helpful.

THE ABSOLUTELY BEST PLACE TO STAY IN VAIL!

This place has it all, 50 feet away from the gondolas,ski valet, Gorgeous view of the mountains and the creek, warm, comfortable, perfectly adorned rooms, hot tubs overlooking the creek/mountains. The only thing better than the surroundings was the staff! They constantly went out of their way to make sure our trip was special and memorable. We have a free place to stay, with family we love dearly, when we come to Vail. This place is so special we choose to stay here This was our second trip to this location and we plan to come back again next year! Job well done!

Not what I had hoped for.....

My main complaint about this property is that it is located on the 2nd level. Not knowing that the lobby was actually located on the 3rd floor, I had no way of knowing that this property was located on a lower level. While convenient, this property is an end unit. What does that mean to you as a guest? It means that people walking their dogs and riding their bikes, etc. up the sidewalk can see in your condominium! They are RIGHT THERE, so very limited privacy. Also, the pool is nearby, and it was pretty noisy.

Better Than Expected

This was our Honeymoon & can’t say enough about how wonderful the location, home & staff were to make our experience better than we could’ve imagined. Special kudos go out to *** (aka Bell Man, Shuttle Service, Info Guy, Etc), ***** & **** (our knowledgable Concierge). Being much older seniors & not into skiing, we still found so much to do including “coming home” to a clean, comfortable & warm oasis. Being there a week with some heavy snow days, we even got to simply enjoy a day of watching classic Christmas movies in front of the warm & cozy fireplace. We ate out some but found it nice & convenient to stock our own food from the local grocery for cooking on those particularly snowy days. The kitchen was well-equipped (although I missed having K-Cups since my hubs drinks Decaf & I drink Regular coffee & a regular coffee pot was over-kill but that’s nit-picking). This lodge & room were the perfect place for total relaxation which is what we were looking for. On those more adventurous days, **** (our Concierge) found & made arrangements to fill our time with fun things to do that we otherwise would not have known to try such as snowmobiling in the back country…a total blast & absolutely stunning (take a helmet camera if getting photos/videos is important to you which it was to us). Weather conditions were sketchy that week so a couple of other activities will simply have to wait until a return visit. Just hope we get to use the same #274 because it was wonderful! Thank you Vacasa for winning us over with your impeccable service, lodging & amenities!

Very comfortable! 4 1/2 stars!!

We enjoyed the view and Gore Creek running behind the condo. We enjoyed the walking path & proximity to Lionshead Village & walked into Vail Village frequently. The kitchen had everything we needed & appliances worked well. Furniture was beginning to look worn, but still comfortable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Pool & hot tubs were handy & vey nice. There was a shuttle that would take you wherever you needed to go and the bus stop was nearby.

Amazing views.

Very comfortable 1 bedroom for three people with excellent balcony. Kitchen is well equipped. Pool and hot tub with the grounds in the back very nice. All the staff were kind and always helpful!

Great Corner Condo.

Overall property is great. Pool, amenities and location. Condo 274 is a corner unit (great for open and light feeling). Looks out over River, mountains and walking/biking path. Quiet and serene. Furnishings are top notch and comfortable...King bed might be a little firm, but for those that like that, it will be great. We Bar-b-Q'd Ribeyes every day on the Deck and that saved us hundreds of $$$ in going out to eat in Vail every night!!!
