Beautiful Gaffaro Apartment in Dorsoduro with canals view.

Questo grazioso appartamento al secondo piano è stato completamente ristrutturato e rinnovato nel 2004. Caratteristi pavimenti in marmo italiano, dettagli in mosaico in bagno, lampadario veneziani.

Camera matrimoniale con letto matrimoniale, pavimento in parquet, armadio a muro, lampadario veneziano.
Divano letto nel soggiorno , diventa letto matrimoniale.
La cucina è completamente attrezzata ed è diviso dal soggiorno da un piano di lavoro in granito e bar per la colazione. Il soggiorno ha divano, TV e tavolo da pranzo per 4 persone.
Dotato di aria condizionata, riscaldamento a pavimento e connessione internet wi-fi.

Il nostro appartamento è situato nel quartiere universitario, a soli due ponti da Campo Santa Margherita, ed è il più grande campo di Venezia ed un popolare luogo di ritrovo per i veneziani giovani e per le famiglie. Ha una grande scelta di ristoranti e caffè e un mercato ortofrutticolo e del pesce. Ci si può sedere al sole e gustare un caffè o un cocktail e guardare il mondo che passa.


L'appartamento Gaffaro (dal nome del ponte su cui si affaccia) è in una posizione comoda per il vostro arrivo e partenza in quanto è a pochi minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria e la stazione degli autobus di Piazzale Roma. Si può camminare a Rialto in 15 minuti e arrivare a Piazza San Marco in 30 minuti prendendo il vaporetto di San Toma '.

Nice apartment with a nice ambiance and view

We had a very pleasant stay in the apartment. Sebastiano, the owner, was very kind and generous. The apartment is well equipped, with a comfortable bed in the main room, a nice living room integrated with the kitchen. Very luminous! The only reservation I would make is related to the sofa-bed, where my daughter slept, which is not very comfortable, as we could feel the iron springs of the mattress. A part from that, everything was very nice and I would definitely come back.

Soggiorno stupendo, la casa è situata in una zona perfetta, tranquilla ma comunque turistica, con un sacco di ristoranti vicino. Proprietari gentilissimi e disponibilissimi che hanno accolto ogni nostra domanda o richiesta. L’appartamento è tenuto in condizioni impeccabili, nessun difetto! Situato vicino alla stazione di Venezia S.Lucia, comodissimo! Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!!

This is a very nice spacious apartment with beautiful views of the canals. Close to bus, train station, many good restaurants, and stores. Sebastiano was an amazing host that communicated well and gave great recommendations on how to navigate Venice. Major plus was washer and drying rack, central air, and great views.

The host, Sebastiano, met us at the apartment to welcome and familiarize us with both the apartment and the area giving us great advice on what to see and how to get there! Location is excellent. Very short walk from bus/train/taxi. Would definitely book again on subsequent trips!

Farewell to Venice

Apartamento Gafaro was the ideal spot for my final visit and my friends’introduction to many of the delights. She will certainly return.We loved the views to the canals from the 3 living room and kitchen windows, watching the constant pedestrian and water activities. Being so close to Piazzoli Roma made transport easy to wherever.

Best spot in Venice

I had the most lovely stay here. Sebastino is absolutely wonderful. A true Venetian local. He showed me where he went to Elementary School down the canal! This apartment was perfect for my artist getaway. It was March and I had lots of rainy mornings but it was so perfect to sit in front of the window and sip my coffee and paint the canal and bridges and passersby. The bed was really comfortable and shower hot with good pressure. It was in a wonderful location by the train station and Vaparetto stops and has some great local eats close by. I love this sweet apartment with an amazing view and hope to be back when I visit Venice again.

Great location

Perfect location to view Italian life. From the ease of getting to the apartment from the train station or bus station, to just viewing everyday life on the sidewalks and canals. The view from the windows in the apartment is beautiful. The unit is stocked with a great amount of supplies to get your vacation started.We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location with canal view

Host Sebastiano was friendly, informative, and available. We loved that the property is a short walk to the bus depot yet far enough away to be out of sight. There is a view of two canals complete with occasional gondolas passing by. Super clean, and well appointed for two people. As stated in the ad, it is up two flights of stairs, but we are in our 70's and had no trouble. Close to several restaurants and a short walk to the Conad grocery. Overall it was a great place to serve as the base for our extended stay in Venice. Highly recommended.

Great Apartment and Comfortable Stay!!

Apartment was very neat and clean; Sebastiano was very nice, he met us at the apartment, explained everything and was always available via WhatsApp. He even accommodated early check-in as our train arrived early. All in all a very memorable stay for our family.

Rooms with a View!

Our memories and photos of this beautiful apartment overlooking three bridges and gondola-strewn canals will have to last until we return to Venice. If it is still available, we would most certainly stay here again. After 6 nights, it felt like our home away from home and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host, Sebastiano, communicated clearly at all times, made check-in and check-out simple, was accessible throughout our stay and was a delight to meet in person. With the apartment situated on the second floor, we enjoyed having a view of the canals from above as well as the security of three well-locked doors between the entrance and ourselves. Well-located near enough to transportation hubs - Piazzale Roma, Ferrovia train station and several vaporetti/water taxi stops - to be convenient, but far enough away to provide a quiet haven from the tourist masses, the apartment was ideal for us. For our breakfast, we alternated between Sebastiano’s recommended neighborhood cafe, Al 133, and one of Venice’s best bakeries, Pasticceria Tonolo, both within an easy walk. We were spoiled by the many great options for take-away food, gelato, ciccheti, cocktails and dinner. Having stayed in many properties since VRBO first started, we give this one our highest recommendation!

An absolute gem of an experience!!

Our host was fantastic. He took the time to give us wonderful suggestions of places to eat, things to see, and vendors to use. He was incredibly responsive and friendly. Went above and beyond with customer service. The apartment is in a great area of town. Easily walkable to food and transportation! Lots of space for our family to have breakfast each morning. Kitchen had all the necessities we could need. Having laundry in the apartment was a nice touch. Wi-fi signal was strong. I was able to work and the kids were able to stream a movie at night. Highly suggest!!

Our Venice stay

Venice was our first stop for our 3 weeks in Italy. After our perfect stay in gaffaro apartment we can only hope the rest of our trip is as wonderful! The accommodations, location and welcoming check in was the best way to start our journey. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable to any/all Venice highlights! Perfect apartment

The apartment is in a great location close to the train/bus station and good restaurants, whilst still being quiet during the night. It has a fantastic view of the canals too. Sebastiano was a great host and incredibly helpful. We look forward to staying here again when we are next in Venice.
