Chalet in Vermont

“The only positives of the property is its size and location. Property not clean and left after an issue with some sort of flies swarming in one of the bedrooms. Expedia was informed of cleanliness issues after check in and would supposedly inform host. Never heard from host until after they were informed of check out immediately after issue with flies. I certainly would not recommend staying there.”

“This place was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet place tucked back in the woods but very quick and easy to get to all the places you want to go. Great place to enjoy a coffee on the deck, read a good book, and listen to the creek behind the house. Very clean, comfortable beds, and plenty of seating inside and out for 4 people. The kitchen had everything you need to make meals and the grill was clean and worked great. The frolf game in the yard, coffee, and pancake mix with maple syrup was...

“The house was pristine and very comfortable, in a beautiful wooded setting. The kitchen was better equipped than my kitchen at home. A quick drive to the ski hill. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. ”

“The cabin was very clean and matched expectations. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kitchen was well equipped. Emilio was very quick to reply to any questions. The only slight negatives were that the roads to the cabin were a bit dicey in the snow and the gas fireplace and TV were a bit confusing to operate. Overall a great stay and would definitely book again!”

“Very clean except the 3rd floor room , it's very dusty. The WiFi is not working, router is non functional, the worst thing was that our cellphones either slow or no signal at all. We have no internet the whole night, it was very unsafe we have no way to communicate the host or call someone in case we need help. Thank God nothing happened unusual. Overall the place is nice and quiet, and well supplied everything we need .”

“Great view!”

“Cute little getaway perfect for hanging out in the woods and driving two minutes down the road to the swimming hole. Had everything we needed!”

“A beautiful spot and a charming home”

“Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The house was well equipped, extremely clean, comfortable, with a beautiful deck and a fire pit area outside. There were labels on everything throughout the house which other reviewers commented about. They may not look pretty, but were actually super helpful! I appreciated not having to keep fumbling around opening drawers and cabinets. The area is quiet and peaceful - just what we all needed. Even though it felt like we were secluded, it...

“This is the only home in south central Vermont that offers not only 7 bedrooms, allows dogs but also includes a private lake! The house is huge with plenty of extra spaces to hang out in after a day of hiking and boating on the lake. We really appreciated the canoe, kayaks and paddleboards provided so that we did not need to drive 7 hours with our own. The bunk room next to one of the master suites was perfect for our grandkids and their parents. The high chair and portable crib were both...

“great cozy cabin with lake views! excellent host, overall wonderful week!”

“A wonderful villa with many amenities within the villa and onsite! It was very comfortable, peaceful with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains! The owner stocks the villa with everything you need and enjoys it in order to help make your stay happy and comfortable. I can't say enough about JP as our host! He was very patient with my many questions being a first time VRBO renter. He bent over backwards to make sure we had all the information and accommodations exceeding our expectations!!”

“Great property in a convenient location. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms. Good for large groups. Host gives great information and responds quickly. Highly recommend.”

“We had such a wonderful stay in the mountains. The setting was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and it was the perfect place to slow down, relax, and reconnect. The home had everything we needed and truly felt like a cozy retreat. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the memories made. We would absolutely stay here again!”

“Super nice property with an insane location if you are a hiker, mountain biker, or skier. The house was very clean and even came with a little welcome surprise which was such a nice touch! Maude the host was incredibly communicative, patient, and accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend staying here!”

“Wonderful space. Super clean, accommodating, and perfectly secluded but still within close proximity to everything you'd like to do. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions prior to booking. Would definitely recommend if you want some peace and quiet without sacrificing any luxurious of home. Oh, did I forget to mention the sauna!? What a nice addition to this already nice home.”
