Hotel a Vernonburg

“Do not book here. I don’t know where the 4stars came from but that’s a lie. I had to go buy cleaning products to clean this room. Toilets, shower, the floors everything was disgusting. Everything in the area was booked for a festival and I traveled from out of state and was stuck. I showed the employee the dirty toilets and nothing was done to fix the problem. “The place had just changed ownership which was causing major issues. Also, the first floor lobby had recently flooded caused by excessive rain and construction.”

“Cottonwood was a very nice hotel with great amenities and a very great location to get to the outlets and other fun activities. It's an older hotel but kept up pretty well. Avoid the backrooms. The only real complaint is the odd smells throughout the hotel. We stayed to go to a concert over in Bloomingdale! They also have a cool Japanese restaurant. Would stay again.”

“There are no rooms here that do not smell like smoke. My reservation was for 2 non smoking rooms. They only had 1 non smoking room available. However they were the same. Both smelled of stale cigarette smoke and cat urine. Third floor room (smoking room) had baby roaches. Second floor non smoking room at least did not have roasted but did have an open hole in the side of the shower with a piece of tape over it. “The main reason I chose this hotel was the use of the outdoor swimming pool. We stayed at the hotel for a week and were not able to use the pool even once.
