“A really nice overnight stay and dinner at The Swan / Bel and Dragon. The building is delightful - full of beams and historical atmosphere but very well maintained. The bar was certainly very well patronised and appears popular with locals while most of the 9 rooms appeared to be occupied, based on the numbers at breakfast. “We had a lovely stay for a couple of nights while we saw family. We enjoyed a meal when we arrived on the Monday evening which was lovely but the portions were large. We decided to have the Continental breakfast on our last morning which is all self service with a lot of choice. The staff were very attentive.”

“At a first glimpse, the hotel seems a little bit dated. In reality, it is pretty confortable. The room are not too big, but there is everything you need. The bed is a springs one, certainly not the ultra modern memory foam, but not bad. Tidiness is decent. A special mention to the service: all the staff is available and helpful to your needs.
