Four Sails - 2BR/2BA Oceanfront - 3 Balconies!

Overlooking the north end of the Virginia Beach boardwalk, with some of the best oceanfront views in Virginia Beach, Four Sails is a resort hotel property made up of Condo-style units, just steps from the beach.

There's an Indoor heated Pool inside a large Atrium, an exercise room with a Sauna, large City View Sundeck / Terrace, and Katie’s 33rd Street Cafe provides on-site dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There are also multiple dining options within very short walking distance.

THE SPACE

This rarely available 2BR/2BA Penthouse unit is located directly on Virginia Beach Boardwalk, offers 3 separate outdoor balconies.

There is a Full kitchen that includes a Stove, Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, full size Refrigerator, and Coffee Maker. There is a window in the Kitchen that provides additional natural light. The Living Room includes a pull-out Queen size sleeper sofa. There is an Oceanfront balcony accessible from the Living Room.

The Master bedroom has a King size bed, and its own Oceanfront balcony. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen size bed, and a City View balcony. There are 2 Bathrooms, one with a Walk-In Shower and the other with a large garden tub that almost looks like a mini-Jacuzzi, also with shower. This second bathroom has a window that provides additional natural light.

One of the unique features of this specific unit is that you have access to three separate balconies. In addition to the two Oceanfront balconies, you also have a City View balcony. Enjoy the spectacular views while drinking your coffee in the morning or enjoying a beverage of choice in the evening.

The location of Four Sails Resort is on the north end of the boardwalk, and near many of the better restaurants and outdoor lounging areas. Katie's 33rd Street Café is also conveniently located on this property and offers good food and casual dining at reasonable prices. Prepare your own meals in your fully equipped Kitchen, or order something from the Café downstairs to bring up and enjoy a meal on your balcony.

Four Sails is an older building, and somewhat dated, but is well maintained with suites that are clean, well-stocked, and offers daily trash and towel pickup.

You can walk or ride your bike on the 3-mile boardwalk (this resort provides bikes to guests for free). Ocean Breeze Water Park is only 10 minutes away and First Landing State Park is only 4 miles away. Or Virginia Beach offers a convenient location from which to schedule day trips to tour nearby Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, or visit Busch Gardens / Water Country.

UNITS / PHOTOS

Please note that the photos reflect the interiors of two different units you might be assigned. The only real difference is if you are in a unit on the North side or South side of the building, so the floor plan would be flipped accordingly. The decor and general layout are accurately reflected in the photos.

However, these units all have the same basic floor plan, and you are guaranteed a 2BR/2BA (sleeps 6) unit, with 2 Oceanfront balconies and 1 City View balcony. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

OLDER PROPERTY - UNIT INTERIORS

Since this property was originally constructed in the 1970's, the property overall is a little dated. Hopefully the photos provided give you a general understanding for what I am describing.

Virginia Beach is an extremely popular beach destination, and this resort hotel is very popular because of its Oceanfront location sitting right on Boardwalk, great outdoor balcony, and near many dining options in short walking distance.

Most families enjoy their annual vacations at this property, and don't have any complaints. However, if you are a traveler that requires more upscale accommodations, this may not be the right choice for you. In that case you might be better off booking a more expensive listing at a newer property. If you have any specific questions on this, please don't hesitate to ask.

GUEST ACCESS

Your unit is private, but since this is a Resort Hotel property, Amenities will be shared with other Guests (Pool, Gym, Sauna, Sun Deck / Terrace, etc)

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Four Sails is professionally managed and operated by Capital Vacations. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance.

- Please note that once you Check In and get access to your unit, if you encounter any issues or concerns regarding Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc…please contact the Front Desk / Office IMMEDIATELY. The staff members on-site provide the best opportunity to get any concerns resolved in the fastest and most efficient manner. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.

- Please note that some of the photos may not be from the specific unit you will be assigned. However, they do reflect the general layout you can expect from various locations in the unit.

- One (1) FREE parking space is provided per unit rental. Additional parking spots are available for an additional fee paid directly at the Front Desk. If you have a large SUV, the turns in the parking garage can be a little tight, however they can be successfully managed.

- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk. Although bedding linens, blankets, and pillows are provided, you may want to bring some of your own if you have a favorite pillow or blanket.

- If you plan on using the Sleeper sofa during your stay, I do personally recommend (if possible) bringing sheets, blankets, pillows, maybe even a mattress pad for the Sleeper sofa specifically, which can be turned into a very comfortable extra bed.

- Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, etc are all provided. If you need more during your stay you can contact the Front Desk and they can provide them. We have never personally had an issue receiving the supplies we needed. There is also a Harris Teeter grocery store conveniently located within a few minutes from the facility if you want to shop for any groceries or personal items you want during your stay.

- Utensils, Dishes, and some basic Pots and Pans are provided. If something appears to be missing, you can contact the Front Desk and possibly get it dropped off (if they have it). However, if you plan on cooking a lot of meals inside your unit, or plan any special dishes, I do recommend bringing your favorite Large Frying pan (or Large Sauté Pan, Wok, Crockpot, etc, etc) for cooking. This way you will have something you are comfortable using and you will know exactly how things will cook in it. You may also want to bring your favorite Kitchen knife(s) for food prep.

- Housekeeping will come by daily to replace towels and collect trash.

- There is a coin operated Laundry Room located on the 2nd floor.

- Pool towels (X-tra towels) are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis. However, if you or your family owns and likes larger and more luxurious Beach Towels, I recommend bringing them.

- You should plan on bringing your own Beach Blankets / Chairs / Umbrellas / Equipment you want at the beach. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc., you can rent them on the beach out in front of the facility.

- Please note that Four Sails also has some leftover beach chairs and umbrellas available for use by guests, however this is based on First Come, First Serve basis. But if you forget to bring something on your trip you need for the beach, ask the Front Desk since they might have what you are missing.

- Ice machines are available on every other floor

- The resort offers FREE bikes for use. This offers good value as this could save you over $100 in normal bike rental fees during your week. Bike usage can be scheduled with the Front Desk on a First Come, First Serve basis.

- If you or any members of your family enjoy bike riding, I strongly recommend taking your own bikes (if you have the means to do so). Virginia Beach was designed with a special bike path along the Boardwalk to cater to bike riders. It's possible to use bikes as your main means of transportation during the week to travel up and down the Boardwalk, and around town. Remember to take your bike locks so you can lock up your bikes at the bike rack each night.

- There is a Virginia Beach Coupon booklet available pretty much everywhere in vending type machines along Atlantic Ave, including the Front Desk / Lobby at pretty much all the properties in VB. In this booklet you can find some coupons that offer decent discounts on food, entertainment, and equipment purchases (like bike rentals if you are not able to bring your own).

- Once reservations are confirmed, you will be asked for the name and address of the main guest, along with an email address to receive a personal confirmation.

- Pets are not permitted anywhere on or in the Resort property.

- This is a timeshare resort but attending a presentation or taking a tour is NEVER required.
