Hotel a Wabaningo

“Everything was fine--we just needed a place to sleep, so didn't have many needs. Thank you.”

“We checked in and realized we are on the second floor and there were no elevators. The air conditioner in the room was not working. Our room stayed at 78 degrees the entire trip. In the evening our TV went out and never worked again. It could not get a signal to run the Direct TV. Our room looked out into the pool area so we could hear the children scream until 10:00 and they started again at 7:00 AM.”

“Holiday Inn Muskegan was just fine. It is not luxury but we didn't pay luxury prices. It feels a tad run down but was not bad. The breakfast was very good.”

“This place was disgusting! I should have known something was amiss when the total price was $180 for two nights. The lobby smelled horrible, the room was bleh, the shower had flaking paint, stains everywhere, the towels were stained! You can honestly spare a couple extra dollars and literally go ANYWHERE ELSE and get a better night stay. Oh and there is no security, I hear someone screaming for help so god knows what was happening with that. Oh, and if you like the sound of smoke detectors...

“We had to leave and stay at a different hotel due to the unsanitary conditions at Whitehall Cottages. The bed had dirt and hair on the sheets and all around the mattress. There’s no staff on the property and the owner didn’t respond back until later in the evening after we were already checked in to a different hotel. When I asked for a refund I was told he couldn’t do it because we booked through Expedia…”

“Pretty bare bones on the amenities. On the plus side, it had a small freezer in the mini fridge to refreeze blue ice and a nice view of Muskegon. Other than that, it is like a European/Big City youth hostel hotel with a grand entry way but tiny rooms with no comforts of home. No Desk and no desk chair No counter space to put your stuff No full-length mirror Only one chair for a two-person room Very small 1990's computer screen sized TV No cable channels so no live sports, just free antenna TV...

“Walls and doors are paper thin. Sheets, blankets, and pillows are not great. The room will be either hot or cold. Basic cable. Those things aside, an ok stay for the area. It’s slim pickings’, especially if you need pet friendly. Staff, breakfast, and grass to walk dogs on were excellent.”

“Hotel was clean and we enjoyed the pool and fitness center. Close to a couple of breweries we enjoyed.”
