“Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking.”

“Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”

“Great location in the middle of Hebden Bridge and excellent breakfast. Rooms vary in terms of noise - at the back by the stream are lovely and quiet.”

“Room was great. Booking in was awful. All young staff, no management visible. Absolutely awful. Expected a bit of noise from pub. But sounded like being above a club. Drum and base beyond 12 midnight. Tea and coffee minimal. Wouldn’t consider staying again. Cleaner in the morning, absolutely delightful. Best member of staff for sure!”

“Buona colazione all’inglese abbondante. Prossimo al museo Brönte, all’inizio della main street. Consiglio di fare il giro dalla strada asfaltata invece che dalla pavimentazione, l’hotel è nel punto più alto del paese”
