“Since I graduated from W&M, I've always wanted to stay at this place. No doubt it has a great location. But my disappointment started as soon as I arrived. No one outside to tell me where to park or help with bags. Walked in to a long line of people trying to check in with only 1 person working. The room itself was in need of a renovation. The restaurant and bar close early. Not what I expected. I won't be back.”

“Charming and tastefully decorated, immaculate. Room spacious enough. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic but nice (great coffee, toast, bananas, pop tarts). Only two relatively minor issues. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great, and the window unit that provided heat was very noisy. Would definitely stay again!”

“I specifically booked this room because Expedia site said it had a hot tub. I was between this and a restaurant that had complementary breakfast and I chose this one just because of the hot tub so I was pretty disappointed. ”

“We booked a suite with a separate bedroom that had two beds and specifically mentioned a deep soaking tub. It is not a deep soaking tub but a standard hotel bathtub. I even mentioned the “deep soaking tub” to the woman checking me in. Since I booked a room with a tub she asked if I needed the tub or it wasn’t a big deal. And I told her I booked that suite for that reason. The ice machine on the 2nd and 3rd floor didn’t work for our entire stay. Staff told me they didn’t know when it was being...

“The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and we felt safe there. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of variety. We only stayed one night but it was a great hotel in the perfect location . ”

“This is a lovely place to stay. The site itself is beautiful. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling. The owners are so knowledgeable about the area and its history. They helped us use our time there more effectively. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at The Aldrich House. We would return if we ever end up back in Williamsburg.”
