The apartment was clean and bright and spacious. There were 3 adults that stayed in the apartment. 1 in each bedroom and 1 on the pull out couch. 2.5 baths, a lovely little outdoor space and a nice kitchen. The neighborhood was really cute with lots of bars and restaurants and shops. Not far from all the central DC sights. Joah was super helpful and responsive when we had questions. Would absolutely recommend this apartment!!!

We had a fantastic stay at a basement apartment in Washington DC, near the Smithsonian Zoo. The apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and felt like home. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with the zoo and parks nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. The host was accommodating and responsive, providing local recommendations and a well-stocked kitchen. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting DC. I can't wait to return!

Fantastic apartment and great location! Josh's apartment is on a quiet street just two blocks from all the great restaurants and shops in Adams Morgan. It's an English basement apartment but is full of light and isn't below ground at all. Windows in every rooms. We loved the outdoor space in the back. Super comfortable beds, great kitchen. We loved it and would definitely return!

Great Stay in Vibrant ADMO Neighborhood

Our group of 4 adults and an infant had a great stay at Josh’s place. His place was super clean which was great for us with a 5 month old. It’s on a pretty street in the Adams Morgan neighborhood and super close to a Safeway and a wide variety of restaurants. It’s walkable to the Zoo, two metro stations and a variety of shopping with several fun neighborhoods (Dupont Circle, Logan Circle) within a 1-1.5 mile walk. The Metro was easy to use to get downtown. There’s a variety of construction going on in the neighborhood but we never heard noise from it while inside Josh’s place. The decor is great and there are all the basics for dishes and cooking - a very comfortable and attractive home! We will definitely stay again if our travels bring us to DC.

First trip to DC

The apartment was perfect for our family. My son slept on the pullout couch and was very comfortable. The host even provided an extra roll of foam for it. We walked to great restaurants and the Metro was a short walk. The street was charming and the neighborhood was walkable. Highly recommend.

Great spot near Adams Morgan

We enjoyed an extra long weekend in DC, and this location was great for us. You are very close to the liveliness of Adams Morgan, but you will not hear any noise from the nearby street at night.Grocery store and grug store are just around the corner, very convenient

Neat neighborhood, nice apartment

The apartment was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for family of 3. Having a full bath for each bedroom was great. Host Josh was responsive to questions, and check-in and out were easy. The neighborhood has restaurants and grocery store in easy walking distance. Metro is about a 15 min walk (.7 mi).

Nice place but ... Rented twice, issues both times and now the owner has ghosted me

I have booked this place twice. The first time, when I check in, the cleaning crew had failed to show up after the previous renter. Contacted the owner. He was very apologetic, made sure I knew where the clean linens were and comped me the first night. I felt that was fair. Booked a second time some months later. It was very cold outside. The heater was on the brink and would not stay running. To the owners credit, he contacted me and acknowledged the problem and said he'd understand if I wanted to move to a nearby hotel, which is what I did. He also told me he'd comp the stay including the difference in my cost at the hotel. I felt that too was fair. I have since tried multiple times to contact the owner to settle the charges, both directly and through VRBO customer support, but he is not responding at all. I'm not sure what's going on but suffice it to say I have lost some faith in the process.
