“Skip and Jane were wonderful hosts! Everything you would expect from a Victorian home bed and breakfast. Lost of history to see and enjoy. The yard and gardens were well groomed, the rooms were very clean. There happened to be a major heat wave when we were visiting and they brought a portable AC unit to our room on the 3rd floor to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious as well. They were very kind to ask about allergies, sensitivities or diet preferences...
“We only stayed one night because we were in town for a concert, so we didn’t utilize all the amenities this place has to offer. The food at the ground floor bar/restaurant was good but service was slow - friendly staff though.
I would return to stay if I ever visit Tacoma again and would like to check out all the bars!”

“This was my second time staying here because of its proximity to the Tacoma Dome. The rooms were clean and pretty spacious. Staff we interacted with were courteous and helpful. I love the complimentary breakfast, and family members made use of the pool, so that was really nice. ”
“We stayed to be close to Tacoma General Hospital where my husband was having surgery. It was so comforting to be in such a lovely home with friendly people and animals. I would definitely love to stay there again”
“What an incredibly beautiful place to stay. I was immediately welcomed into my room with the beautiful sound of music! The view was beautiful. The water was gorgeous perfect location. I would highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back!! ”
“They had a lot of 24 hour options for food and convenience stores which I always appreciate when I’m traveling. Everything was straight forward and quick service. Staff was helpful and knowledgable, I never had to search for staff there were always employees close by willing to help or answer questions. ”
“We have family in Gig Harbor and we’ve always stayed in Tacoma for lower prices and never considered The Inn at Gig Harbor because we assumed it would be much pricier. Now that we’ve “discovered” it, we won’t be staying anywhere else. When you factor in the bridge toll and the traffic, time, and convenience, The Inn is the best choice. P.S. I love the comfy beds!”
