Sii il signore o la signora di questa straordinaria tenuta, una delle proprietà più conosciute nella Bassa Hutt. È molto privato ma a soli 15 minuti dal Wellington CBD.

Il tuo grande tour di questo magnifico punto inizia alle grandi porte e ti porta per un km su un vialetto panoramico lastricato, passando 2 cascate scintillanti sulla strada. La casa principale è stata notevolmente ampliata e migliorata. In stile Tudor, dispone di quattro ampie camere da letto, tra cui una master suite di livello superiore, molte aree soggiorno e salotto, sia formali che informali. Ci sono anche altre due camere da letto. Ad ogni passo, questa casa trasuda qualità: soffitti in carara, pavimenti in jarra / matai, pannelli di pareti in legno, sedute integrate e deliziose finestre a piombo. I quattro bagni sono situati internamente, insieme a una sala giochi con un proprio bar. La cantina e l'enorme cucina in stile fattoria sono il sogno di un intrattenitore. Ben isolata, la casa è calda e confortevole.

Inoltre, gli impianti di questa proprietà sono stati celebrati per quasi un secolo. Felci, cavoli, rododendri, avocado, noci e palme di nikau sono tutti ben consolidati. L'avifauna abbonda, con tuis, fantails, occhi di cera e martin pescatore, mentre farfalle monarca svolazzano. L'area di intrattenimento all'aperto è accogliente con un camino e un barbecue incorporato nel tuo angolo di paradiso privato.

Beautiful home surrounded by nature. Great communication with host. Although it seems isolated, there are neighbors within close proximity therefore must keep music to a minimal. Otherwise great for a quiet getaway.

The house is huge and beautiful if not old and a bit musky. Plenty of space and accommodated us easily. Communication with manager was slow. For a place that can house so many, there are not enough wheelie bins and you need to byo soap and shampoo.

Great stay, its an historic property and served its purpose bringing my whanau together and we made memories. The hosts are very good to talk to. That driveway was scenic lol. Thank you for trusting us with such a beautiful home. No moans and groans from us. We heated the house up there were plenty of heaters and plenty of room to chill. Awesome time!!!

Very impressive property, huge bedrooms, great location for what we needed. Recommend highly, only downside is 2 bathrooms for 14 people, 1 being an ensuite. But we made it work no problem!

The negatives: Communication with host was not efficient - we had to wait for a while for pin to get key to access property and we were unaware of some of the rules attached to the property like having family over to enjoy a meal. (Which the host allowed us to after a lengthy convo) Although there was a cleaning fee all rubbish needed taken off property by us. The musty smell when we entered was met alongside unclean areas inside like spiderwebs and moths along the window sills. Suggest you bring pillows unless you like thin musty ones. The property was surrounded by chicken and rooster feathers and poo making it unsuitable for small children to run around. It was our last resort at such short notice but we wouldnt stay there again.

gardens and surrounding grounds wonderful, vintage style house fabulous. But no instructions for spa bath, plenty of videos but no instructions on how to use them, no tea towels. Small things amiss, still very enjoyable stay.

Would love to come back for another stay! We had a great time, the property was awesome and weather was good so we made use of all the outdoor space. The house was clean and tidy and just what we were after. Great space, great beds and definitely a great view. Although there were no flannels or cloths and pepper for our eggs 😆 we made do and all had a fab time.

We had a great time and loved the house experience. It was an adventure living in an older house. Loved exploring the outdoors. Loved the outdoor areas. Just something that could be improved on we could have done with an extra bath mat and we were only given 10 towels for a booking of 11 people. All round we loved our time at the house.

We loved the lodge style accommodation. Eight friends but equally suited to couples. Quirky, expansive, great areas to l8ve and relax on all levels. Cold snap I in the weather caught us the first night but we sorted extra blankets and marvelled at a few snow flakes. Friendly resident chicken and rooster. We lived it.

Absolutely loved out weekend away and what an amazing venue. We will definitely be back again. Our only complaint was that the dishwasher wasn't working. The lights in the house kept doing some strange things too like dimming, flickering or turning on and off but it just gave the Manor a haunted feel which made the weekend even more enjoyable. Hopefully this things are sorted by the time we book again.

It's a beautiful and spacious house, most of my family members liked it. However, there was something that needed to be fixed. 1. The wifi is not covering the whole house. 2. Only 2 showers were not enough for 10 people. 3. The first floor and the living room were not cleaned thoroughly and had a bad smell.

While the property itself is excellent, there were many issues including inaccuracies in the original listing. The house had power faults due to poor maintenance, was dirty and poorly equipped. Communication with the person responsible was frustrating and unhelpful. I wish I could recommend this beautiful location but the experience was severely compromised by mismanagement.
