Godetevi la vostra vacanza in questa splendida casa di tronchi sul lago a West Augusta. godetevi l'ambiente privato circondato da una fattoria di oltre 900 ettari che fa da supporto alla George Washington National Forest. Un sacco di passeggiate / sentieri escursionistici, stagni multipli per pescare e liberare la pesca, e varie opportunità di osservazione della fauna selvatica.

Situato a breve distanza da Historic Staunton o dalla bellissima contea di Highland.

Le caratteristiche della casa su misura e soggiorno aperto, sala da pranzo e cucina al piano principale, nonché la camera matrimoniale con letto king size e bagno. Al piano superiore ha una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale, bagno e soppalco con letto singolo che si affaccia sul soggiorno. Il seminterrato finito walk-out ha un'altra camera da letto con due letti singoli, bagno con lavatrice e asciugatrice e un garage per auto.

La casa ha un ponte che avvolge 3/4 della casa dove è possibile rilassarsi e godere della vista sulle montagne, sul lago e sul campo da golf.

C'è un grill a gas sotto il portico. Biancheria fornita.

Questo è veramente e scollegare una vacanza rilassante. Non c'è servizio cellulare, niente internet e niente cavo. C'è una TV con lettore DVD e un telefono di casa per il vostro uso. L'ambientazione e l'ambiente circostante compensano la mancanza di intrattenimento digitale.

We came for the fishing and weren't disappointed

What an absolutely beautiful property! Caught fish in the lake and ponds. Saw eagles at the pond by the pavilion and lots of deer. The pig was a big highlight! The whole group seemed pretty content just sitting on the porch and soaking up the mountain views. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us, everyone really enjoyed themselves!!

Poor communication

VRBO listing was misleading. Owner listed property as having Wifi in the house. I took a screenshot to show my friend whom I was booking the cabin with. In fact, I had filtered my search to show only those properties that had Wi-Fi. That’s how I found this listing. When we checked in, we contacted the host asking for the Wii password. The host said there is no WiFi, it’s for the hosts’ residence only. We had no choice but to stay there, and had to go to a local grocery 4+ miles away to check emails. There were no other listings nearby and it would have been the cancellation of our vacation if we did not stay there. We were not happy at all. Tried messaging host a few more times and was ignored. Do not recommend this listing. Beautiful location, deceitful host who does not communicate at all! We left early.

Will miss the pig!

Absolutely wonderful property and location that was so relaxing and fun for a weekend with friends. It's a well-equipped and well-maintained cabin that is cut off from the internet (much-needed amenity). The lake is amazing with great boats. Overall, no complaints, although a pier/floating dock would've been sick! Wish we could've stayed another night.

Peace and quiet

Beautiful and relaxing cabin on a hill overlooking a valley. Clean and quiet. The kids loved being greeted by a friendly pig. We also caught some fish in the lake.Definitely recommended.

Simply Wonderful!

We chose to stay here for a family getaway to relax, hike, and see some fall foliage. It was perfect! Very quiet and truly unplugged. The lodging was top notch and very comfortable; It was a very spacious/accommodating cabin with that rustic feel we were hoping for but with all of the modern day amenities. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t already provided. Our children loved running around the farm and seeing all of the animals… a bald eagle, turkey vultures, cattle, deer, working dogs, and even one very cute pig who enjoyed some petting and some food scraps (apparently he was in a tiff with the other pig and retreated largely to our part of the farm lol). All whilst the grandparents enjoyed rocking on the porch with the most amazing view of the mountains or sitting by the fireplace. We were even lucky enough to get a bit of rain and see a rainbow appear right over the pond. The farm is vast and beautiful with plenty to see and do. Luke was very hospitable and introduced himself after happening upon us during a walk. He pointed out good places to visit on the farm and even gave us a short tour. We felt very safe our entire stay. The working dogs were out on the farm and on the job! It was actually quite cool to hear them baying far off in the distance. Definitely would go back. It’s been my husband’s favorite family trip so far.

Great getaway!

Views are amazing! My wife and I loved our stay and had a great time with all the hiking trails close by. Tons of wildlife all around! We really enjoyed eagle watching and the domestic residents as well. Especially the two pigs my wife wanted to take home with us. Cabin is very private and had everything we needed during our stay. Expansive grounds to explore on the property.

Beautiful location. We came in from a slightly different direction so the instruction to get to the property were a bit confusing but we figured it out. So much to see and do in this part of the country. Loved having no cell service!!!

A Rural Paradise

Words cannot describe how beautiful the views from the cabin are. You can spend the entire day exploring the beautiful property and fishing or just staying in enjoying the spacious property. The hosts couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend, especially factoring in how great the price was.

First of all - I didn’t realize it was no service/Wi-Fi when I booked but it turns out it was exactly what we needed. We had an amazing New Years! From the views to the homey feel to the pigs who visited us, we loved it all and we will be coming back. Highly recommended

Great weekend getaway!

Though the weather wasn't ideal, we had a great time! It rained the entire time we were there, which kept us in the cabin or on the porch. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. The ¾ porch kept us dry when we wanted to get fresh air and take in the view. Highly recommend and will be back
