“Great place the owner watch you and shows you how to use everything in your room where everything is it had a refrigerator with soda and ice cold water even had a working ice machine. It was pouring rain when I came back one day from working even offered to come out with an umbrella and walk me in You don’t get that anywhere else ”

“The property is absolutely stunning for those of us that enjoy older heritage homes. A beautiful and unique B&B - lovingly restored, decorated, and cared for. I was met by the proprietor and shown around, and he graciously shared details of the home and answered any questions I had. The interior and exterior design showcases a loving attention to detail and obvious design expertise. Beautiful amenities in a peaceful environment. I will absolutely stay again. ”

“The only thing I didn't like was not having a coffee pot in the room. It has a kitchen but no coffee pot. For the price I assumed they would have provided one. Other than that my stay was great. I stayed for a week.”

“It was clean and quiet I felt safe there”

“Y’all got a new building in the front but only give ppl rooms in the old building the bathrooms old and dirty. Cigarette burns on toilet and shower. No ventilation in restroom. The air conditioning in my room was broken and I told the receptionist and he didn’t care he said if I wanted another room I would have to pay more but air conditioning is a basic amenity and I was very uncomfortable I would have rather slept outside than that room. ”

“My stay was to perfection. Quiet, peace, fun, and very comfortably!!! Staff at the front desk were amazing!! Some of Housekeeping could be better with their attitude but they were doing a great job as well!! The breakfast provider made me feel welcomed as if it was bed in breakfast n stayed on top of breakfast items!! The water from a visual eye was not too good but hey it’s west Monroe that’s normal, still felt good!!! 9/10 Good Job wingate!!”

“The plug ins need to be replaced in every room that I stayed in. The ceiling tiles need to be repaired. Some of the rooms have a bad smell. The mattresses need to be turned and or replaced. Some of the bed frames need to be repaired. The chairs need to be cleaned. You can smell cigarette smoke coming through the wall on some of the rooms. The doors need the strip at the bottom replaced. The air conditioner vents are mostly all broken off. ”
