“We’re in our sixties. We like hanging out at the pool and getting a beverage or two. The main pool at VH is more suited to a younger crowd: it’s loud, it’s busy, it’s a place to hook up. There’s nothing wrong with the hotel, if you forgive them dirty towels and dingy bedding. Maybe three decades ago this would have been the place, but we’re beyond the Daytona Beach vibe you get at the centerpiece of the hotel.
