“We had a grand time staying at the Afton Inn! If I had any questions the host responded in less then 10 minutes! The Inn was immaculate, and the staff I talked with were extremely kind and helpful. This is Inn gets an A+. Many years ago I suffered a spinal issue that I never disclose to people. However, the first night we stayed the King Bed felt wonderful! Yet, in the morning my old wounds came back to haunt me. I texted the host, and I was moved immediately to another room that had a firmer...

“Everything was great, the 2 girls trying to get everyone in a room while the system was done were phenomenal. Stayed there twice in the last week, highly recommend. ”

“Our Tv would not connect to the internet, the TV also had no sound and one of the drinks we got from the self serve shop was expired in 2023”

“The room was clean and the bathroom was very nice, particularly the shower. The decor of the suite overall was a bit disappointing; pretty sparse, not very inviting.”

“This property is actually a very run down motel. The three story facility does not even have an elevator! When we found this out we asked for a first floor room only to find that the room was actually UNDERGROUND up to the window sill and faced directly on to the parking lot (i.e lined up with the car exhaust pipes!) The only positive note was the courtesy shown by the staff member at the reception desk. We did not spend the night there.”

“Our stay at the Dinsmore was perfect. Jake the manager responded quickly to every question and the location couldn’t have been better - everything within easy access and onsite parking. The ambiance of the buildings made us feel part of the history that drew us to C’ville for a mini-vacay and the included breakfast at the attached restaurant was beyond divine. Only problem was we were always too full to eat lunch later!!”

“No coffee makers even though they have it listed as an amenity on their web-site. There was garbage on the floor in front of the AC/Heater from the unit, i imagine someone 1/2 cleaned the filter to the unit and then reinstalled the filters backwards so when the ac was turned on it blew the rest of the crap out of the filter into the room.”

“The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. Also had light supper offered Monday-Wednesday which was helpful. Would stay there again ”
