“Staff were very nice when explaining my accommodations and answering my questions. Also, they responded quickly in fixing an issue I had in the room I was assigned.”

“Staff were very nice. Property is somewhat rundown and the room I had needed updating, but for the price it was acceptable. Basically clean, no bugs, a/c worked fine. TV had sufficient channels and there was a microwave and fridge. Water in shower was hot. If you are on a budget, it is sufficient. The old " you get what you pay for " label is appropriate. Dont expect a Hilton atmosphere for what you want to pay.”

“Inn is beautiful and historic. Inn and all rooms were clean, nicely decorated with natural and historic scenes. The bathroom was spacious with soft and plush towels. Dining area lovely with long wooden table. Chef was very nice and her breakfast was excellent and tastefully laid out. Hope to return for a longer stay in the future.”

“This was our second time there, such a wonderful out of the way motel. It’s going to be our go to place to stay when in the area. Nice little pond, and a grill area. It’s very quiet and relaxing, and the very inexpensive breakfast was delicious! My only complaint is I hope they clean up the paddle boats, so we can enjoy them. Other than that, we love this place! Highly recommended!!”

“The Stony Fork provided us with a comfortable and clean room plus access to a kitchen and other amenities. It is conveniently located near the town of Wellsboro, PA Grand Canyon, Pine Creek Rail Trail, and state parks. I would definitely stay at The Stony Fork again.”

“Outdoor parking is accessable, nice area. A/C was fine. There was a question about our reservation at first, but it was all worked out.”

“The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed did not have a very good mattress, so consider that when planning for extra people. Also, trying to get in the door was an experience. It took several attempts to figure out how that worked as well as how to lock it. There should be better instructions, and a reminder to hold the door tightly closed when locking or it won't engage. Booking through Expedia was ok, but was a bit misleading, as we thought we were getting a river view, however,...
