“We had a great stay here recently. We stayed in Room 4 which is a tad unusual as it has no window in the main area. There is a window in the bathroom so you can have natural light provided the door is open. Not a problem for us tbh as the room was completely dark overnight. The room is quite basic with a small TV and a double bed (at home we have a king size, so it was smaller than we are used to). It was spotlessly clean. “Questo hotel e in una bellissima posizione sul mare ,ma le camere sono piccolissime ,mi sembrava abbastanza pulita, a parte una piccola macchia sul copriletto , mobilio stile antico, bagno con arredo nuovo e pulito . “We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely. We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. ”

“There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs.”

“We had a small issue with the self check in as the gate number provided in the email didn't work. I managed to ring the hosts and after a few minutes it was sorted and we were able to gain access. The lodge was very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped for a self catering stay. Everything you needed to cook a meal including a microwave oven a fridge and a kettle. I loved the 4 highland cows in the field just outside the lodge, this was partly my reason for booking this accommodation. ”

“Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. "Abbiamo soggiornato in questo incantevole hotel situato in un grazioso paesino appena fuori Edimburgo, e l’esperienza è stata davvero positiva. Nonostante la posizione sembri un po’ decentrata, i collegamenti con la città sono eccellenti: c’è una fermata dell’autobus proprio davanti alla struttura e una stazione ferroviaria raggiungibile con una passeggiata di 10 minuti, che permette di arrivare nel cuore di Edimburgo in modo semplice e veloce. Il personale è gentilissimo, accogliente e sempre disponibile, pronto a offrire consigli utili e a far sentire gli ospiti come a casa. L’atmosfera è rilassata e familiare, perfetta per chi cerca un soggiorno tranquillo lontano dal caos cittadino. Le stanze sono pulite e molto silenziose, In sintesi, un’ottima scelta per chi vuole visitare Edimburgo godendo al tempo stesso della quiete e del fascino di un piccolo villaggio scozzese."
