“A beautiful property in a great location overlooking the Cliff Path Walk that takes you directly to Hermanus. A view to die for. During whale season - you can see whales out in the bay from your room. Wonderful and gracious service. Excellent breakfast’s and spectacular art work throughout the property.
Was everything we hoped for and more. The staff was great and arranged all our area activities. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. ”

“The Abalone Lodge is a beautiful property in a magnificent setting overlooking a captivating seascape with a private gate leading to walking paths. The staff was amazing, the food was gourmet level including the breakfast choices. The rooms are very comfortable. I would love to stay here again but next time for whale season. The Aboline Lodge is definitely the perfect place to stay for whale watching or any time when you need to relax and be pampered. ”

“If you are looking for a relaxing, home from home getaway then Villachad is the perfect place. The accomodation is quirky, clean and comfortable. The pool is a nice way to cool down . A bonus was having a beauty and massage therapist on site for some additional pamper. The cold and hot breakfast was more than adequate to start the day. Louise and Ernie are warm, attentive hosts with many suggestions of restaurants to visit and places to see on a short stay. Overall a great experience.”

“O quarto é enorme, com varanda, dá pra ver o mar apesar de não ser de frente porém sem charme. Roupa de cama boa, cama idem. Banheiro estranho. Staff super gentil. Café da manhã bom. Local péssimo para turista, longe do centro que é uma graça , sem nada em volta e perto de uma comunidade.”

You could make your own coffee, tea or hot chocolate and there were water bottles in the fridge. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Delicious fresh fruit salad and a large selection of cooked and cold food. We would most certainly stay here again.”
