“We spent two nights at the lodge after spending time in whitefish, Waterton Canada and Glacier National Park. It is a beautiful facility and we had a very large king room, fireplace, sink and refridge. It was very rainy and cold so the restaurant, lounge etc were pretty crowded. But service was good and food was tasty. Shuttles run hourly into town and airport shuttles are available. BUT. We had some maintenance issues with the toilet. We were told maintenance would come right away 4 times...

“For a hotel charging nearly $500 a night, the service and cleanliness were very disappointing. There was trash in the hallways, and maid service was only provided every other day. The hallways did not appear to be vacuumed or cleaned regularly. It was also a cold weekend, and we asked for an extra blanket for my grandson but never received one. “It’s a cute chalet. The rooms remind you of an old western movie. The reception area was very homey. It was cool outside, so I enjoyed the fire. The night and morning staff were both nice and helpful. The downstairs game room area was fun. Room to play games or sit and chat. Restaurant was next door, which was nice.
