“A charming and old hotel on beautiful grounds and walkable to Glendalough Cathedral. Hotel needs serious updates and maintenance. Broken coffee machines, fire extinguishers hanging on by a thread to the wall. Staff (other than a bartender) were not impressive and food was meh. Staff is worked hard.”

“The spa was marvelous. My husband and I spent nearly 2 hours moving from steam room, to pool, to sauna, to pool, to hot tub, to heated lounge chairs. Complementary robes and non-slip shoes. “The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)”
