“Do not stay here! Gary and at least one of his staff, watch and listen to everything you do inside and outside the room. I left the motel without staying the night for fear of their obvious voyeurism. Do your research. I now know this has been reported in other reviews. I’ve attempted to send my experience to Expedia, however their infobot could not understand anything beyond me not being satisfied with my stay & said they would reach out to hotel mgmt. “We had such a good time. The pool is gorgeous!”

“It was a fairly nice place. We stayed in the front building on the third floor. The open balcony across the front was shared if you want to sit out which is fine. Great view! The carpet on the balcony really needed to be replaced. My big issue was there were no blackout drapes so the room never got dark at night. The overhead outside lights stayed on all night which would have been fine if the rooms had blackout curtains. The blinds were built into the patio doors and were light filtering....

“The room is spacious and clean with comfortable pillows. The rooftop bar and restaurant is lovely and a plus. The staff from the reception to the rooftop bar/restaurant were helpful and friendly with great service. We will definitely stay here again and recommend to others.”

“Parking was easy which is a plus especially in a city like portsmouth. The town is extremely walkable so we didn't have to use the car again until we left. The staff was friendly and attentive. They asked what kind of coffee we wanted and even cleaned our room which included changing the towels. If we come back to portsmouth, I would definitely stay her again”
