“In actual fact the property needs to be bulldozed and replaced. It is a worn out old motel. It was only for one night a bed and a shower in the toilet and that’s all it was good for, the fluorescent light in the bathroom flicked and wouldn’t stay on the smoke detector in the room had been removed. I thought that was an interesting effect. When I asked the motel staff they said I will fix that question. Maybe not. It’s my first and last day there.”

“The decor was ye olde memories of yesteryear. Also music. I’m fond of traditional but found it to be tacky and a bit gloomy. The room was tiny and the bathroom cramped. Pleasant to sit in the lounge in front of the fire. We found the restaurant dinner overpriced and the food mediocre. Dishes were different for the sake of being different without regard for taste. “We had a lovely stay at Dormie House from 6th - 10 July. We had a room that was clean yet really small to be honest . There was no where to hang clothes, apart from two pegs to hang our coats on. That was a bit frustrating.
