“The staff was very friendly. We arrived and checked in with no problems. My husband asked the manager if he could park our show bike under the canapé to ensure it was safe and they said yes. The breakfast was your typical motel breakfast. We did I not use the pool or gym but they looked clean.”

“The rooms were spacious but not in the best condition, mold in showers, painted poorly, with some areas with the trim painting not done at all. There was not free breakfast that we are accustomed to at a choice property. Which was disappointing. Yet the people in the restaurant were pleasant, friendly and took great care of us. The food was good as well.”

“Breakfast was decent with two waffle machines, etc. Staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. Air conditioner needed a tuneup but was okay. Room was clean.”

“My only comment is that I forget we now have to request our room be made up. For a two night stay, I don’t need clean linens, but it would have been nice to have the bed made and the towels folded. I’ll have to remember to make that request in the future. All staff were very nice.”

“floor carpet is kind of wet sense to foot and smell in room, need to be ventilated. Location is quite and safe”

“This property is nestled by the river, which is such a lovely spot. Donna is such a wonderful innkeeper; she made us feel right at home. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious, and it was made with love. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re searching for a lovely BnB near Shenandoah National Park, this is like home without the chores. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!”
