“Lovely cabin away from it all with with a winery/brewery/distillery in the backyard. A perfect place to wind down and relax. Having windows from floor to ceiling let nature close while enjoying air conditioned environment. Never met the hosts but email communication with them was quick and responsive.”

“Spotlessly clean house and very well equipped. About 3/4km outside Lorne.”

“I chose the Maids' Quarters primarily because it had two separate bedrooms with a queen sized bed in each. It turns out there was so much more to enjoy in this accomodation. The tastefully done furnishings and fittings, the fully stocked kitchen, the spaciousness, the quiet at night. Gary met us when we arrived and was happy to answer any question and give us tips on local eateries. Overall we were delighted with the property. It was very clean and comfortable and we did not want for anything.”

“What a "hip" mid-century modern motel room. Everything worked well and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. ”

“We were awakened in the middle of the night by a very caustic odor and left prior to 5am as one of us was almost unable to breathe. A petrol station attendant told us the Geelong area has strong odors from the Gas Plant when the wind blows a certain way. Recovery time from this gas attach was about three hours of burning eyes and throat. Not hotels fault but would never stay there again.”

“Lovely property. Super efficient check in and check out. Wonderful breakfast and tea and coffee available throughout the day. The room itself was spotless and perfect for a short stay. The bathroom is fantastic and large. The pool looked very inviting but we did not have time to try it this time around. Cannot fault the hotel. Will absolutely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay. ”

“Beautiful, modern room. Restaurant /bar very nice and staff super friendly and efficient. Only let down was that the pool was closed for 1 day and when open was zoned in lanes, so not a hotel/holiday vibe at all. ”

“Overpriced for what it was. The splash back behind the cooker was also plastic so melted when using the pans. Heating unit was also so loud so couldn’t use when sleeping. ”

“Absolutely fabulous. This property was so clean and tidy and beautiful decorated.The little bar came with complimentary wine, granola, a fresh loaf of bread, jams and honey,tea, coffee and hot chocolate the fridge was stocked with yogurt juice and milk and butter. This was so good to have because once you get there you don’t want to leave. We had a view of the olive grove and relaxed on the deck as the sun set in the background. The air conditioning was quiet , the shower was big enough for two....
