Hotel a Windsor Heights

“Breakfasts was typical. Fairly good selection.”

“A cream bread for breakfast and not so good apple/oracle juice and coffee. Worst continental breakfast ever. And the breakfast place is so tiny and filthy. Rooms were okay. But would not recommend nor will book this hotel again. ”

“No problem with the room but be aware that the motel is pet friendly. Unfortunately our neighbor had a small dog that barked incessantly for about half an hour beginning at 6:00 am. Apparently the owner was out of the room.”

“On Expedia, this property is listed as No pets allowed, which is why we chose it. I have allergies and need a no pet location. While there, we saw several dogs in the hotel. Their actual website says pets allowed. Expedia has the wrong information!!!”

“Good for a short stay, amenities are good at this price. The staff seemed not friendly; I'm not sure, maybe I'm from Canada, so I was expecting more generosity, but that's optional. There was some kind of moisture smell in the room..”

But when we booked Expedia showed that allowed cats and dogs and this Windgate is Steubenville OH did take cats in Dec 2025 when we stayed there. but I called the day prior to our reservation, and they said they did not take cats since things have changed. Which I must say was worth every penny of the slightly higher cost per night then other lodging options in the area.
