I stayed here with my 2 kids (ages 9 and 11) for our first snowboarding in the mountains trip. We came from Michigan, and the choice was easy to visit Winter Park, but where to stay was the question. I honestly combed vrbo for at least a month before I chose this property. It did not disappoint, and exceed my expectations. The location of being only a 5 min walk from everything we needed, especially the gondola! To just be anle to gear up and have a short walk to a snowboarders paradise was priceless. The room with the bunk beds was perfect for my kids to share, and I had the lovely king bed to myself. 2 deep soaking tubs were so nice to relax in after being on the mountain all day. I also chose this property, because the amenities/hot tub- which was absolutely beautiful and had a great view of the mountains. The kitchen was stocked with everything to cook in also. Lots of storage space and hooks for all our gear! Lastly, the deck was beautiful, I really enjoyed sitting out at night watching the snowcats groom. Thanks so much!

We had a great time at Winterpark and the apartment was as described! Don’t know if it was me or the communication, but getting all the check in information was not always clear. Did not know till late there was a contract to sign, the information for the parking was 2 times different and confusing. But once we were passed that, it was really great! I would recommend

This condo was very close to the gondola, easily walkable even in ski boots. Ski lockers near the from door and heated parking were awesome too. The unit is about as far away from the elevator as you can get, but the patio has a great view of mountains and the village. Condo itself was clean and cozy. Had everything we could have needed!

We loved the accommodations for many reasons, including the close proximity to skiing, the indoor parking, the relaxing huge outdoor hot tub, how nicely furnished and comfortable the unit is, and Winter Park in general. We'd come here again, for sure.

This condo is close to the slopes and base village at Winter Park and has a great hot tub for apres ski. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Communication was great. The only slight complaint is the parking garage. I've been coming to Founders/Fraser since 2019 and every year the parking garage is a pain. The QR reader doesn't always work right and this time it said we left, when we hadn't, making it difficult to exit the parking garage (you have to scan your QR to leave). This isn't a knock on the condo at all, but more so the entire Fraser/Founder parking garage management. Please relay this message to them. They can do better!

This was a perfect stay for me and my friends during our mid-week trip to Winter Park. Everything from parking to the ski lockers to accessibility to the gondola was spot on. And the hot tub was a highlight of the trip. I would definitely come back to Founder's Pointe!

We checked in to our property and it was in a completely unacceptable state. It was not cleaned at all. There were coffee grounds all over the sink, the kitchen stove was filled with food, beds were unmade and there were towels on the floor. Someone needed to come clean the property before 4 pm and we reached at 6 pm and was not in move in condition. We were traveling all day, and it was disgusting. Great view, easy walk to the Gondola, accommodated my husband and me and our three large boys… or teenagers. Had everything we needed. Storage was great, couch was comfy. Only complaint would be to add more games. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

Great location, across the street from the Winter Park resort mountain base. The fireplace did not work after the first day. The management company said they would fix it, but never showed up or even called to say that they never were going to fix it. The unit was a bit drafty and the weather was chilly, thus no fireplace was a bummer.

This is a great option for families skiing at Winter Park, since true ski-in/ski-out properties are hard to find at this resort. While you still have to walk a little over a quarter mile to the lifts, this property is right across the street from the ski resort base, such that those who are not skiing can easily meet up with the skiers for lunch, or if there are those who need to go back to the condo after just a morning of skiing, they can easily do so without having to take a long bus ride back to the towns of Fraser or Winter Park. In addition, this property provides for easy after-ski access to a number of businesses providing food for the evening meal, thus avoiding the need to pack up a large family group to try to go out to eat when restaurants in the area typically have 30-60 minute wait times. Our group had five kids under age 10, so the flexibility provided by this location was very much appreciated.

There were multiple emails that came in advance of the rental period and finding the one with a 4 page PDF describing how to get in the parking garage was a nightmare. The QR code did not respond initially but we eventually got in the garage. Internet did not work initially for 3 days and the fireplace did not function properly. While the latter was less of an issue, some on the trip needed to work remotely which presented a problem. There was a binder in the unit with information about what to do if you needed assistance during your stay but it said dial "0" from the phone in the unit but there was no phone. It provided an 800 # but when called, the person on the other end said they could not help because it was privately owned. We then used the number in one of the emails sent from Winter Park Escapes and got thru to someone who sent a person out to look at internet. We were told the unit was privately owned and the internet was not set up because the unit owner did not have an account. The next day an IT person from the building reset the internet and it seemed to get things working except streaming (Apple TV Netflix etc.) We were able to live with that. The fireplace never really ended up working properly but it may have been because the unit stayed so warm 24/7 from the baseboard heat despite the thermostat being turned down to 63. If you like the ambience of a fireplace, this is not the unit for you. VRBO did offer some very reasonable compensation for the inconveniences which was greatly appreciated. I do appreciate them trying to make it right. The fact that there were emails from VRBO and Winter Park Escapes as well as inaccurate information in the binder in the unit made things confusing. The whole process seems like it could be more streamlined. The app that I was supposed to download for info for the week was less than helpful as well.

Took a trip with the family to get some snowboard time in. Woke up every morning and walked across the street to get on the lift and start our day on the mountain. After we were done we would head back, and talk about our runs by the fire place. It was a great trip and the perfect place to stay if you want to wake up and walk to the lifts. Thanks for a great trip!
