“Booking in at reception was very easy and the receptionist ( Caroline .. I think !) was warm Welcoming and very friendly, explained everything and made sure we knew who to contact with any problems. “The room was a little tired and dirty. The bathroom has not been cleaned well. There were hairs in the tub and marks/dirt on the toilet seat and around the sink area. The front desk staff were pleasant enough, though at check in I was told I owed £40 but I’d already paid the full amount. The redeeming part was the breakfast- good food and friendly staff. ”

“Ample parking. Friendly, helpful staff. A good breakfast and a very enjoyable evening meal. The room and premises was immaculately clean. There is no lift to the rooms, we didnt need this, but it might be an issue for some. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.”

“We stayed here on a Car Club weekend with a large party of friends including an annual dinner. Although the staff were helpful and tried their best to provide a good service, there were too few of them; especially on the Sunday evening. Apparently, there were only 5 out of 25 staff that should have been on duty meaning there was no housekeeping (therefore rooms not serviced) and the kitchen, bar and waiting staff were hard pressed to keep up with demand.
