“We have always been able to depend upon Hampton Inns for excellence...until now! The property is rundown; needed paint; carpet was filthy and left our feet and shoes black on the bottoms; sheets did not fit the bed; breakfasts were not up to what we had come to expect based upon other Hampton Inns; corners of room and bath were dirty. Someone had knocked a hole in the closet door which had been very poorly repaired and left unpainted. We were very disappointed in this hotel in Lubbock, TX.”

“Mattresses were terribly lumpy. Air conditioning was not working well. Bathroom was pretty gross, honestly - grime on the walls, dirty toilet and shower, no toilet paper holder at all. Would not stay here again.”

“Room was clean, shower door sounded like it could fall off when pulled shut. Had to wait for bath towels Staff was friendly!”
