“Everything was good”

“All good except breakfast was disappointing. Not all advertised options were available. Most hot selections were room temp at best.”

“Everything was great. Our family had a great stay. The one aspect that gave us pause was there’s a barn/sliding door for the bathroom. Having a door that closed would have been preferable. =0)”

“The building is 100 years old. So part of the stay is experiencing the age and history of the building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some rooms come with breakfast and some do not. Ours did not which suited us. There is a nice porch with rocking chairs where we enjoyed some refreshments in the evening. The tv in our room wss small, but we did not go to watch tv. We had a good time.”

“I enjoyed my stay at Skylarnna Resort. The hotel was quiet, and the scenery was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the on-site pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, so we had to go off-site for meals and drinks. Even though those facilities were closed, it would have been nice to still have the option to purchase bottled water or other beverages on-site. “The front desk was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was amazing along with the morning stuff being great! Everything from check-in to check-out was wonderful. We absolutely loved our suite room.”

“We stayed here one year ago and all was good but on this trip we were given a room with a foul odor that smelled like wet carpet. The towels and wash cloths still looked dirty and the TV didn’t work. Thankfully there was other rooms available and the staff was more than helpful to give us another room. The only other issue was that the breakfast was not good at all and food that should have been kept warm was cold. We probably will not be back to this location again.”

“Everything was great. The hotel is nice, clean, and the staff was very helpful & friendly. Our only complaint was that the breakfast wasn't worth the money. We would defiantly stay again!”

“The entire premises were well maintained. It felt like I was in tiny village which was cool. The room was very clean and cozy. The only thing that stood out to me was the smell in the room. It smelt like moisture which made it feel a humid even with AC on blast. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot and would certainly stay here again. It’s very close to town and to many famous hiking spots. There are plenty of eating options whether upscale or laid back. This is a prime location indeed.”
