“Property was lovely overlooking the valley”

“Clean room with easy check in. Parking is extremely limited. We were staying for 2 nights and I had to ask staff if I could have the second mornings complimentary breakfast. They advised we should have had our room serviced which didn’t happen. The staff I spoke to were lovely and helpful, giving me fresh towels and the breakfast. It’s a “locals” pub so it was a bit noisy late into the night. The room was clean and the neat, the bathroom was fabulous!”

“This motel is 5 star! Beautifully modernised and renovated, tastefully decorated with class and style. This isn't your average "this will do" basic room; this place is quality, comfortable, intentional, welcoming and pretty. It's the kind of room that you feel kind of sad to leave. The receptionist Sam was helpful and considerate, and we loved every minute of our stay here. If ever I have reason to stay in Daylesford, the Art Motel will be my first preference! Can't rate it high enough!”

“Overall, our stay was okay, mainly because the location was excellent. Everything we needed was within walking distance, which made getting around really easy. There were a few things that let the room down, though. We had booked a room with a king bed, but it was actually two single beds pushed together, which made the bed feel uneven and uncomfortable. “The property was a bit tired, clean and fine. The bed was very uncomfortable for me and my wife so we didn't quite get the full R&R we'd hoped for. I'm guessing the bed is quite old, it was saggy on each side with a raised section in the middle which is typical for old beds, so not easy to get a good night's sleep - and that is in the top couple of things we are after in accommodation. Spa tub was hot, everything easy otherwise, though I did feel like no-one checked the freezer seeing as there...

“Lovely people who manage the property. We booked a superior cabin expecting a washing machine/ dryer but wasn’t available. The cabin wasn’t what you would call superior but never mind we made the most of it . Beautiful Daylesford.”
