“A wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. “Loved the room, it was a comfy bed and had all the amenities we needed. The staff were helpful, chatty and very welcoming. We had breakfast most days and lunch on the day we didn’t in the pub downstairs and Alex even remembered what sauce we liked! The pub had a fab atmosphere, the food was lush and the cocktails were gorgeous. Would definitely stay again 💕❤️😍”

“Good hotel whose dated appearance masks the facilities and staff helpfulness. Our room (18) was spacious and well equipped. My only complaint was no table at "my" side of the bed yet had the single and double been moved to the left one could have fitted. It makes a nice change to order the cooked breakfast and have it brought to our table.”

“Great communication from the owner Tom from the beginning as he phoned us in the morning to help us navigate through the road closures due to the air show and thousands of people attending. Had a lovely stay, comfy bed and great location. Would recommend and visit again. Just how a family owned guest house should be. ”

“A little gem. Had a fantastic weekend stay at The Smugglers. From the minute we checked in to the moment we left, the staff made us very welcome.
