“Clean, comfortable, good food in the restaurant. Breakfast OK (but not better than OK). No AC and right beside train tracks and busy road so on hot nights there will be some noise in your room. Parking was full when we arrived due to busy restaurant. Had to park across the road at the train station until parking was available at the inn.”

“Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.”

“Nice pub accommodation close to the sea. The rooms are above the pub, so expect noise until after closing time. It's a large pub for tourists, so it can get busy, yet despite the young front of house team, this place runs like clockwork - I was very impressed with how well organised they were. The full English breakfast was excellent. We parked in the pub's car park at 18:30, taking one of the last spaces, but left and came back around 9pm and parked without any issue. The rooms are...

“Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. “Quaint and lovely spacious room with a beautiful view. Gorgeous dining room and outdoor deck. Friendly staff. The tea, coffee and carafes of water were a nice touch.”

“The location couldn’t have been better, walk across the street and you are on the sandy beach ready for an enjoyable day at the ocean. Arcade close by and rides for the kids. Plus an easy walk to the train and other great activities”

“Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. Staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again.”
