“Our cabin worked really well for our family of 5 adults for an interstate family birthday. Walking distance to family, the beach, lagoon and local shops and clubs. Water views. We didn’t use many of the cabin facilities as we spent most of our time elsewhere with family, but our grandkids loved the playground. Had a minor hitch with the coded boom gate but sorted very quickly by helpful staff, both in reception and with the after hours emergency contact. Park is neat, tidy, quiet and well...

“Amazing place to stay for the group ”

“Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our cabin was clean, compact and comfy. The park is extremely well maintained and is very clean and a short walk to shops with the beach a few minutes walk. Originally booked for one night but our cabin was available for us to book for a second night. There is also a lovely cafe near the entrance to the park.. enjoyed a very nice breakfast ”

“A pleasant surprise to find somewhere close to all of Wollongong and south to kiama (short drive either way), that was peaceful and quiet at a reasonable rate at Easter time. The on-site restaurant was very reasonably priced and the food was fantastic, as were our host. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times, my wife and I will be staying when in the area again, thanks for an enjoyable stay - we look forward to staying again in the future 👍👍”

“A comfortable stay at this modest motel. Everything worked well and the rooms were clean. Area was quiet day and night with a nice countryside feel. It was a means to an end really as there is limited accommodation options in Picton. The distance from town was too far to walk and taxi options are very limited. There is a nice restaurant attached with great dining options of good quality and reasonably priced. ”

“The Coniston Hotel is good value for what it provides and is close to Wollongong. Room was clean; bed comfy. Just be aware they are currently undergoing renovation to the downstairs pub during the week so you may experience noise after 7am. We would stay again. ”

“When we arrived it took a long time before we were acknowledged at the desk, even though staff could see us. The room wasn’t ready even though we arrived 2 hours after checkin time, and we were asked to come back later. Bed wasn’t made to expected standard - only had fitted sheet and grey cover that had stains on it (we had to ask the bar for more sheets). No hot water for the first day of our stay which was particularly inconvenient because we were there to get ready for a wedding. The toilet...
