The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne. “The bed was comfortable and clean. The room a good size with a kitchenette. It was quiet and very convenient, easy walking distance to shops and beach. Check in was easy. The price for that area was fantastic, you won't find better value. It's not new and if you expect luxury go pay 4 times the amount somewhere else for similar facilities. This place kicks goals for position, meeting needs and value for money. Will stay again. The family who run it are friendly and kind. ”

“This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin...
