“The location within the park is wonderful - allows early morning solitary hikes - before the tour buses arrive. Hiking again around noon or after is also better as the tour groups are more spread out throughout the park. The buffet was really good!”

Weird design of the new shower facet, had to go to the lobby desk for help to turn on the shower. Well, no instruction on room phone for how to call the front desk. ”

“We came to Zen and Pine Resort to hike Mt. Yushan. Although that wasn’t possible due to road closure, on the manager’s advice, we instead visited nearby Sun Moon Lake and hiked Mt. “Had an excellent stay in November 2026 where I was able to see the famous Alishan "Cloud Sea". Meals at the hotel were excellent, and staying overnight in the Alishan Recreation Forest gave me lots of opportunities to explore the different trails and enjoy the cool mountain air.
