“Staff attentative and made this a very pleasant stay; from the free room upgrade on arrival to the substantial breakfast. Room nicely decorated with plush carpet. Hotel dining area nicely furnished with wooden floors and loads of interesting pictures. Diolch yn fawr”

“Restaurant closes pretty early 8 o clock- and few choices available even 15-20 minutes before closing time. But overall ok”

“Spa was small Lack of toiletries in the room, no hair conditioner Bath plug did not fit correctly Food not prepared well, undercooked beef, replaced with more the same ”

“Just a short overnight stay in see concert. Just slept there. Warm inside hut. Bed perfect for one. Hot shower in morning. Woke up by peacocks squawking...fabulous”

“Incredible location close to everything, friendly staff, good value. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with nice views, lots of amenities including kettle, full bath. Llangollen is a beautiful, friendly town with local shops/no franchises. There are wonderful walks along canals to waterfalls, deserted abbeys. ”

“Room was ok. Small double bed. No headboard, just the wall behind the bed. No hot water in peak times. No black out curtains at all. Lighting very dim in the room so impossible to put make up on anywhere other than the bathroom. ”

“Food was wonderful. Room was very clean, with a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits. They have an information pack in the room that gives all relevant information. They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. ”
