“Everything was clean & accomodating staff. I particularly liked the bushy surrounds and access to the beach. For food you'll need to go to Portland and take a container to fill with drinking water for a drink and if you want a cuppa when you arrive. I used the tourist information brochure to plan my sightseeing for the next day. I would go again on my way to or from Adelaide. ”

The accomodation was clean and modernised with onsite parking close to the local cafes, restaurants, hotels and the Loop walk leading to the Lighthouse and the surrounding Shearwaters Colony. A great experience. Thank you”

“There was no on site car parking as indicated- needed to park in public car park up the road. Was further to walk to beach and shops than indicated . We chose for location and accommodation was much more expensive than other options and we were disappointed with that. Bed was very uncomfortable - partner and I had sore backs ”

“I wanted to leave a positive review as I felt the manager genuinely tries their best. There's a total lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom. You would want to be in a very confident and comfortable partnership to share this room. There's literally NO privacy at all. The bed is only a double which is a let down, especially with the $400 a night price tag. Breakfast is off site but quire good. ”

“I received a detailed email and a hand written note from the owner, which I thought was a lovely touch. Very lovely room, just wish I wasn’t there just for the night cause I definitely would have had a bath!!”

“The park was relly amazing although the cabin we stayed in could use with abit of repair but other then that it was not to bad the pool was amazing an the oark was very quiet defs may stay here again”

“We stayed for two nights at Drift House in Port Fairy and had a somewhat mixed experience. The accommodation itself is absolutely stunning — beautifully designed, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. It really feels like a special place to stay. “Was a nice place to stay. Only could fault a couple things really. 1 day the pool was overloaded with chlorine to the point it stripped my sons osmosis swim shirt from blue to grey and my shirt from brown to orange. And i. The roof of the cabin newds a good c9bweb clean. Oh and luckily we had a lighter as the gas stove lighter had ran out of gas. Other than that was a nice place to stay. Staff are friendly. ”
