“I thought nearly everything was perfect. The staff at the desk, the bar, and the breakfast counter in the lobby were kind and personable. It was clean and had fun pictures on the wall, a funky cactus lamp, I had a beautiful view. And the pool was fabulous For morning swim in preparation for a day of conferencing. I loved almost everything...except the design of the room (really just the bathroom). My hip hit the toilet paper dispenser when I used the toilet. The bathroom mirror was only lit...

“Terrific place to stay when you are engaging with U of A and any local businesses. Very centrally located and easy to access anything in the are of the university. One word of caution: parking is at a premium in the area. Very little street parking available. Garage parking is $23 a night while valet is $28. It was a bit unstructured when we arrived late on a week day, which is being kind. Your mileage may vary. Everything else was spot on. Refurbished Embassy Suites building it appears....

“Very quiet and peaceful stay in a comfortable, clean and uniquely decorated room that feels very fun and personalized compared to your usual hotel room. Check-in was very easy, coming in the form of a text message to your phone, containing codes to unlock the front gate, as well as your room. There are only a small handful of rooms available (maybe 6?) so the location is never crowded or noisy, which is appreciated. Overall great stay here, and would definitely book again!”

“We have been coming to this Marriott property annually to visit our grandchildren and when we arrived, they said the pool was closed for deep cleaning when in fact it was a broken pump and every day we were told was being fixed and never was until our last night there. They had a note on the pool saying due to anyone inconvenience please ask at the front desk for special accommodations. I spoke with Kathey the manager and asked if we could switch to another room as the fold our couch was like...
