Hotel a Clawson

“It was okay to sleep for a night and have breakfast in the morning.We arrived at 1:30 am and left at 10 am.The property was clean, but there was no visible breakfast attendant that could clean the tables or refill the breakfast items.”

“The staff was excellent. Parking great. Only complaint have not received an invoice from stay and we booked an extra night supposedly at the best price but pretty pricey”

“We loved this hotel and wished we would have been able to stay for more than one night. Very nice and spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows! Quick service and decent breakfast. We did not use the pool but it looked clean. The hotel itself was very quiet as well and staff were great.”

“First of all, I was supposed to have two queen beds in one room and then the room they sent me to. I got in there and the bed was all messed up wasn’t even made up so they were putting us in a room where it wasn’t even cleaned yet so I complained about that and they put us in another room and we had to pay $60 for parking for two nights also the bed is like the frame is like 2 inches from the floor. It’s like if you got bad knees or health issues you won’t be able to get in and out that bed...

“Alright place to stay, front desk evening staff wasn’t the nicest and had to wait for a while to check in as they weren’t at the desk. You hardly get any soap or shampoo and there is no complimentary breakfast. Would only recommend for a quick and cheaper stay.”

“The room was spacious. There were plenty of parking places. The covered pool, hot tub and sauna were very nice.”

“Helpful staff and beautiful grounds”

“Our stay here was exceptional except you weren't allowed to bring outside food in or DoorDash. I understand that since they have a restaurant on-site but it closes earlier than we thought. We were in town for a concert and wanted a bite to eat afterwards but just went to be a bit hungry lol. We probably could have found somewhere to dine but it was 11 pm on a Wednesday...not many dine in spots hence the need for DoorDash. I would absolutely stay here again despite that minor inconvenience....

“Beautiful old Victorian home with bits of history included. Close to Wayne State, museums and restaurants. Not far from downtown and sports venues.”

“They said they were under new ownership and renovating. Still no excuse to give us a room with no working shower and visible mold and debris littering the hallways. The property seemed very aged, very different than any photos... beds were OK, but bathroom was horrendous.”
