“Motel vecchio stile ma ben tenuto. Grande stazione di rifornimento per camion dall'altra parte della strada, ma camera silenziosa grazie ai doppi vetri. Letto comodissimo. Ottimo ristorante a Rufus (5 ml) piu' ad est, vecchio stile americano. Il venerdì hanno la Prime rib veramente da non perdere. Bob's Texas T-Bone and Frosty's Lounge.”

“Clean room, comfortable beds, good breakfast. The kids enjoyed the pool. ”

“Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.”

“Caveat: this is a traveller's rest-type motel. Zero frills, just a comfortable secure room with a comfortable bed and working shower. No monogrammed 1000 thread count sheets, no turn down service, just evidence of pride of ownership and recent renovation. I will absolutely stay here again. The "town" is a truck stop, but this is a great place to catch up on sleep. ”

“The owner/manager of Columbia Gorge Inn went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and feel at home. He even let use his washing machine and dryer to wash our dirty hiking clothes. Highly recommend!”

“It’s an older property but a good value. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. It did the job for staying in town for a wedding. It’s awesome to wake up in Cascade Locks. Such a beautiful area.”

“We have stayed at quite a few motels during our Canadian/US roadtrip and this motel is right up there as one of our favourites. The rooms were clean and tidy, after a long days drive we were happy to order a freshly made pizza with some cool drinks and sit on the patio and enjoy the view over the river. A really special little gem.”
