“Really enjoyed my stay at Coco Garden. The owner Ray, his associates George and Gerri Lynn made my experience in El Nido memorable. Treated me and every other guest like family. Ray will do what he can to assist in your travels. The property itself is close to Vanilla Beach and some eateries. It’s more chill than the standard hostel. Rent a scooter and you’ll be good. Wi-fi in all of El Nido is spotty, so you have to patient, but Ray will help you if you’re in a pinch. Will be looking forward to...
“I'm giving it a 2 star review only for the kindness of the owner, the free breakfast and the location. Otherwise it would have been a 0. The place is bad, really really bad. The room was small, dirty, infested with bugs, never cleaned in 4 days (imagine how much sand brought from the beach and how many dead insects were on the floor after 4 days of stay). “L'hotel è posizionato di fronte alla strada principale che porta a El Nido lato monte, quindi su una strada abbastanza trafficata. La camera è spaziosa con pareti di bamboo e foglia intrecciata, ottimo per tenere fresca la stanza ma non per i rumori e i fumi che entrano causati da fuochi spesso accesi nel cantiere.
L'acqua del bagno talvolta esce marrone e lo scarico del water perdeva, gli asciugamani logori e bucati e con lenzuola macchiate. Il personale è cordiale.”

“It was a nice place with friendly staff who was always helpful. Room was big, but bathroom very very tiny. There were some amenities missing, such as a shelf in the bathroom or the roll for the toilet paper. Air con and fan were working properly, and the small fridge too. Location was nice, 10 minutes walking from town so definitely quiter. But there is not a real beach there, Caalan beach is mostly rockly and dirty..”
“Overall, you get a lot for your money with breakfast included. Sleeping in a tent is obviously very simple accomondation which we expected but what really surprised us was the loud people around us making noise until 3 in the morning. For a place like this we really expected some peace and quiet and at least a rule that says that it should be quiet after a certain time. Its really a shame that this ruined our nights here so we had to leave one day earlier. The owner payed us back for that night...

"Il luogo dove si trova l'hotel è a dir poco fantastico, direttamente sulla spiaggia con alle spalle una zona commerciale dove trovare servizi di ogni genere oltre a negozi. Piscina con vista meravigliosa. Infatti il panorama nonchè i tramonti sono mozzafiato e le foto pubblicate sono veritiere. Sulla strada principale con i tok tok facilmente si raggiunge il piccolo centro del El Nido da dove poi partono le escursioni all'arcipelago. Lo scrivo in quanto questo aspetto mi preoccupava non poco prima di partire. In circa dieci minuti di percorso con questi mezzi si può tranquillamente raggiungere il "centro". Viste le tariffe che applicano mi aspettavo di più ..... ad esempio cambio degli asciugamani scarso, colazione ridicola. Il personale è stato sempre molto gentile e disponibile. L'albergo risulta pulito. "
