“We had a wonderful stay at the Harbour View Inn. It was located enough off the main street that we didn't feel crowded, but close enough that we could easily walk to whatever site we wanted to see. Our luggage was transferred from the ferry to our room, on the third floor, by a very pleasant and helpful young employee. I was quite impressed by his ability to load suitcases onto his bike and ride through the streets to and from the ferry.

“I wanted to mention two staff members who really stood out to me: The first one was Rebekah (sp?) who helped me find the washer and dryer for guests. She didn't just point me in the right direction, but walked me there and even told me where to get soap if I needed it. After that, she walked me to the exercise room. The other lady I want to mention was Jessica at the front desk. She was extremely hospitable and helpful. ”
“This is a great, basic, not fancy clean motel. The location is great for the ferry to Mackinaw, just a few minutes from Shepler's dock. Thanks to the motel front desk staff for giving us good information about shuttles and getting the ferry to Mackinaw Island. DON"T pay 15.00 to park at Shepler's lot, call them and the nice shuttle will pick you up in minutes from this motel. Tip the driver, they are super nice.
