“The hotel is nice but is a little different! The layout is confusing but I would totally stay again. The 2 bedroom suite was worth it! The pool was clean and big also. We used the little arcade and that was fun but some things weren’t working the best. All in all we would stay again price wise, convince of two bedrooms when you have kids and location!”

“I thought we might be getting a cabin and ended up in a room in the back of the property. It was not very nice. I asked if we could move to a cabin. They happened to have one available and moved us for a small upgrade fee. We appreciate the staff for helping us with this.”

“Property was not maintained. Bags of dirty towels remained in the hallways through 6 pm. Rooms were not fully cleaned upon check-in. The beach property had fire pits full of trash and empty cans and bottles. Staff were constantly on their cell phones at the front desk and while working in the halls with loud music playing at all times.”

“At arrival the front desk asked if we would like to upgrade to King Room, we did for additional fees, which is alright. But the room is terrible. When we get in it has weird smell, mouldy smell. The AC is so loud like a tractor running. If you have food or drinks put into the mini fridge, please double check the plug and make sure it turned on, it was set to OFF, even though we plugged in but did not know have to turn it on so all food and drinks all “warmed up” in that fridge. “My husband and I stayed at Bayside Mackinaw City for two nights. The staff was very friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. The property was very very clean and seemed to be in good condition. We didn't use the pool or hot tub so I am unable to provide feedback on them. Check in was a breeze, and check out was just as quick and easy. Housekeeping was wonderful and made sure we had plenty of towels and soap/shampoo and conditioner.
