“The hotel I stayed at down the road wasnt buf invested like this 2 nights before. The property needs to be treated for bugs. Also the bathtub was not clean. Slug came out of the drain lever. Breakfast was scrambled eggs and they tasted fake. No meat left and old. Microwave pancakes.”

“We booked this very last minute and were super happy with it! The room was very clean and it was just feet from the bridge and the fort! It’s a great location and the price was insanely affordable!”

“The staff were very kind, and my children really enjoyed the pool. However, some of the support posts in the lazy river were in poor condition, with nails visible, and the water slide and hot tub were not operating during our stay. I hope these issues can be addressed and improved by next year. Thank you for your attention and for an otherwise enjoyable experience.”

“Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again.”

“****I ONLY GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE NONE WASNT AN OPTION**** We checked in Friday about 8pm for memorial day weekend with 2 kids excited for the pool and splash pad, only to learn it wasn't functioning. Room wasn't cleaned or stocked Saturday while we were gone all day and I had to go to the front desk for towels for showers. Room wasn't cleaned sunday...had to request after 3pm towels and stuff were at least restocked and all the sand be swept off the floors. I was told by the front desk they only...

“Waterpark doesn’t open until 2 which is a bummer but the beach is across the way. Beds are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms lack drying lines for wet clothes. The kitchenette that is advertised for the suite is nothing more than an average hotel room kitchen… it just has more cabinets. Do plan on bringing a hot plate if you want to cook in your kitchen. Staff are helpful and accommodating.”

“The property was okay and you can use the indoor water park at the other hotel. Unfortunately, the water park opens at 2 pm and that is not very convenient with children.”

We stayed at the budget inn and they make it very clear through the booking and on the lobby door of the budget inn that you checkin/out at the Thunderbird Inn next door. The rooms were basic and felt equal to the affordable price we paid. The pools were not open but it was a cold memorial day weekend trip. I got to bring my dog for only $25 for the whole 4 nights. “Lake flies everywhere and needs an upgrade”

“Bugs every where, pile of bugs in bathroom, bed and outside. Staff doesn’t want to clean them up or change the room. We checked out 1 day prior to original booking because we can’t even sleep.”
