“We stayed here on May 31, 2026.The place had just been remodeled. Everything seemed to be brand new. The bed was comfortable and the place was very clean. Check-in was simple. We were very pleased with everything.”

“Me and my friends had a short stay at budget inn (3 nights), but we got that hotel because was one with hot tub, and guess what? It wasn’t working! Not getting hot at all. Also, one of the breakfasts had a problem that the wall where the machines for drinks was connected wasn’t working, the lady that worked on the breakfast part was supper helpful putting a cord to make it work, I know it might not be a huge problem, but it was actually bad for us having that problem that day. “Front desk employees were very friendly and helpful! Free hot breakfast had many choices. Property grounds were accommodating for relaxing outside by the lake front although we visited during the “midge fly season” and there was no way to avoid them but to stay inside.”

“The room was clean. Our sliding glass door lead to a small patio and beach area. Beautiful view. Large hot tub, nice pool. Staff was excellent! My son left his wallet in the room, after checkout. They called us, we was literally crossing the Ohio state line. They shipped the wallet to us. He had over $300 cash. It arrived in the mail with everything in it. Highly recommend this stay!”

“Birch Run Lodge is like stepping back in time. It’s a quintessential Michigan lake experience. The main inn building, circa 1912, is beautiful. Its long porch faces Trout Lake with plenty of rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the view. The Inn’s interior features a beautiful bar, dining room, lots of vintage furnishings and an air of comfort. The Inn’s owner/proprietors are welcoming and present. We stayed in the motel portion of the Lodge, which is classic mid-century and decorated in that era....
